LAUNCH INTO LIFE I was born in the fifties. My birth was not unique as there was a second result of my parents cohabitation 10 minutes after my launch into life. And fighting for my space in life, after managing to get out of the whom first, was always my first and foremost occupation. Physical space was narrow, growing up in a small house in a row but the claim for a unique identity was harder. It started with being dressed up copy proof to my brother. We both hated that but the dress code abuse went on until our teens. On top of this identity theft we grew up in a house with a store inside. That had serious consequences. For instance we had to bring all our fresh clothes to the little bathroom to fully dress because customer would walk about on the upper floor where my parents kept a commercial rental library store, until after 20.00 hrs. On top of that they brought regulars into our private areas for a coffee or worse for an enjoyable evening watching tv, smoking big cigars together
